Santa to Visit Phoenix Deer Valley Airport This Month

Phoenix, AZ – Santa will give his reindeer a rest and instead travel by helicopter into Phoenix Deer Valley Airport this month. The Deer Valley Airport Restaurant is hosting Santa Claus December 19 and 20. Santa will arrive by helicopter right outside of the restaurant patio and spend a couple of hours during each visit talking with children and handing out goody bags inside of the restaurant. Parents are welcome to take photos. The events will be free of charge.

Phoenix Deer Valley Airport is located at 7th Avenue and Deer Valley Road in north Phoenix.

Santa’s schedule is as follows:

  • December 19: 10:00 a.m. – noon
  • December 20: 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

This is the third year that Deer Valley Airport Restaurant owner Voula Papamatheakis has hosted Santa. Last year, the “jolly old elf’s” visit drew 200 children in one day. That’s why the restaurant has invited him back for three days this year.

The Deer Valley Airport Restaurant is one of the best places in Phoenix to dine while watching planes take off and land. The restaurant offers sit-down service and will feature breakfast, lunch and dinner specials during Santa’s visit. Parking is free at Phoenix Deer Valley Airport.
